Not only can we plan a fun outing with Mom for her special day but everyone can enjoy the arts, entertainment and food at the Cottonwood Arts Festival in Richardson, TX.For more than 40 years Cottonwood Arts Festival has been a hugely popular event attracting visitors from all over. It draws humdreds of artists locally as well as nationally. Here’s what you can expect to find at the festival: oil paintings, watercolors, drawings, photography, digital, ceramics, sculptures, jewelry and much more. Be sure to make some time to sit in the courtyard and listen to the local bands play. Or take the children over the bridge to the Artstop. Children of all ages can enjoy a variety of arts and crafts.Whether you are shopping for art, celebrating Mom or just out to enjoy the great outdoors the festival is a great place to make it all happen. Cottonwood Park is located at 1321 W Beltline Rd in Richardson (one block east of Coit). The festival is open Saturday, May 7th and Sunday, May 8th starting at 9 am and closing at 6 pm.
