Make Roar for the LIONS C A McMillen High School Opens in Murphy TXLots of excitement is going on this weekend in the city of Murphy, TX. Households across town are preparing to send their ninth and tenth graders to the new high school, C. A. McMillen. The 2011-2012 school year will be its inaugural class for students of Plano ISD. Over the course of three ballots and lots of votes the “Lion” was selected as the official mascot of the school. The school colors are navy blue and gold. Murphy residents are looking forward to watching the Lions do their roar in Kimbrough Stadium located next to the new high school. Plano ISD offers some good information for students and parents to know about the school.
