Make It an All-American Tradition

Make it an All-American Tradition

photograph of the Dr Pepper BallparkSaturday night at the Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco TX the RoughRiders took home the win against Tulsa. For awhile it looked like an easy win for the RoughRiders unitl Tulsa came along and tied it about half way through the game. In the 8th inning the RoughRiders took the lead back and went on to shut out Tulsa in the top of the 9th.

It was a pleasant evening to be at the ballpark. The seats were full and spirits high. There was mostly families with children of all ages. The families are one thing I enjoy about the ballpark. Another is Deuce and Daisy, the team’s mascots. They always have plenty of crowd pleasing entertainment on-hand.

Monday, Memorial Day, May 30th the RoughRiders host Tulsa one more game at home before heading out on the road. The game starts at 4:00 pm if you want to celebrate Memorial Day with some All-American baseball. Perhaps everyone will make it an All-American traditon by taking a moment during the game to honor all those fallen soldiers who gave us our freedom to enjoy baseball.
